Private briefing
How we use your information
This portal is a private briefing prepared for you. When you open it, we record a small amount of first-party information so we can prepare for our conversation:
- which sections you open, and roughly how long you spend on each
- how far you scroll, and what you click inside the briefing
- how many times you visit, and when
- the browser your device identifies itself as, which arrives with every request the web makes
That is the whole of it. We don't use third-party trackers, advertising pixels, or outside analytics services. We never sell, rent, or share this with anyone outside Mercaitor. It exists only so the person who sent this to you can follow up thoughtfully.
Like any site, this one runs on software we buy: a host, a database, an alert service, and the service that delivers your invitation email. Each handles what you send in the course of running the portal for us.
If you use the form inside the briefing to write to us, we keep what you typed, your name, email, firm, role, any website you gave and your message, so that a partner can reply. We use it for that and to prepare for a conversation with you.
